PHE Year-in-Review: Climbing Y8

Here at EISB, Physical Health and Education is an important part of our students’ personal development. One of my goals as the PHE Teacher/Coordinator is to introduce our students to a variety of different sports. In this end of the year series, we take a look back at some of the different activities various classes have experienced over the 2025-26 school year. 

After just a one session taste of climbing for the Academy students last year, I decided to give them a longer course this year, conducting a three lesson mini-unit at K2 here in Ruzinov. Our Y8 students were very enthusiastic about this and highly successful as one can tell from the photos. In fact, our students found climbing so enjoyable that we are now considering a possible climbing club/team for next year.
