On 22nd April, Year 2-B celebrated Earth Day with excitement and curiosity! π During our English lessons, we read about Earth Day, learned new vocabulary, and discussed how we can care for our planet.
We explored the importance of the 3R’s β Reduce, Reuse, Recycle β»οΈ and shared simple ways to protect Mother Earth. A fun word search activity made our learning even more enjoyable! π§©
The highlight of the day was our creative project π¨βwe reused old stockings, added soil and grass seeds, and designed cute little βgreen friendsβ with googly eyes! ππ± After watering them, we placed them in glasses and are now excitedly waiting to watch them grow.
This activity helped us understand the 3R’s in action and connect our learning to our unit on plant systems πΏ.
