Author:Laurie Ann Thompson
Pages: 34
Reading age: 7-9 years old
Description:
This picture book biography tells the true story of Emmanuel Ofosu Yeboah, who bicycled across Ghana–nearly 400 miles–with only one leg. With that achievement he forever changed how his country treats people with disabilities, and he shows us all that one person is enough to change the world.
Hi everyone! I am Francisco Martinez.
I was born in a village called Corral de Almaguer, Spain (probably the place which Cervantes mentioned at the beginning of his famous book “El Quijote”). I grew up surrounded by my family and friends, always with a football on my feet.
I graduated with a Bachelor of Education and a Master of Cognitive Neuroscience. On top of that, I studied Postgraduate to teach Spanish as a Foreign Language.
At EISB, I hold the roles of Physical Education and Spanish Teacher, as well as Foreign Languages Coordinator.
I have lived in Madrid (Spain), Chicago (USA), Dublin (Ireland) and, currently, Bratislava (Slovakia).
I love reading about History, my favorite band is Coldplay and one dream to come true is to live in Finland.
