EAL Is Off to a Fantastic Start! 🌟
A Great Start in EAL!
The new school year has got off to a fantastic start in EAL (English as an Additional Language)! Our Year 1–6 students have jumped straight into learning, exploring, playing and building their confidence in English.
Every learner is working at their own level, with differentiated activities designed to support individual needs and make learning both meaningful and enjoyable. Younger learners have been busy recognizing and identifying letters, practicing sounds and developing their early reading skills through a variety of fun activities and educational games. 📚🔤
As students progress, they are developing their vocabulary, building sentences and practicing how to use correct grammar and tenses in context. We are also using quizzes, games and interactive activities to make learning memorable — including a fun “First Day of School” quiz to get everyone talking and thinking in English. 🎯
From recognizing a single letter to creating complete sentences, every small step is a big achievement. We are already seeing lots of enthusiasm, participation and growing confidence — and this is only the beginning!
