Amazing time at the High school camp
From September 9 to 11, our High School students and teachers had the wonderful opportunity to step away from the classroom and spend three unforgettable days together at HorskΓ½ hotel BartoΕ‘ka in ΔremoΕ‘nΓ©. Surrounded by beautiful mountains and breathtaking landscapes, our camp was much more than a school trip. It was a chance to connect, challenge ourselves, laugh together, discover new strengths, and build the sense of community that makes our school such a special place.
From the very beginning, the atmosphere was full of energy and excitement. Students were placed into teams and quickly discovered that the camp would be all about cooperation, creativity, enthusiasm, and, of course, a little healthy competition! Throughout the three days, teams collected points by taking part in a wide variety of activities, with everyone encouraged to give their best and support their teammates. Even something as simple as a rock-paper-scissors battle became an opportunity for students to cheer each other on, laugh together, and show their competitive spirit.
There was certainly no shortage of physical activity either. Students enjoyed playing volleyball, testing their skills, working together as teams, and enjoying some friendly competition under the open sky. The highlight for many, however, was the opportunity to explore the incredible surroundings during hikes on both days. Walking together through the mountains and taking in the breathtaking views created some truly memorable moments. Away from classrooms, screens, and the usual routines of school, students had the chance to appreciate nature, challenge themselves, talk with friends, and simply enjoy being together.
When the sun went down, the fun was far from over. Our evenings brought a completely different kind of energy, with trivia night, movie night, and a fantastic BBQ evening where everyone could relax, enjoy good food, share stories, and spend time together. These moments were just as important as the organised activities, giving students and teachers the opportunity to connect in a more relaxed atmosphere and creating memories that will last well beyond the camp itself.
As the points continued to add up, the friendly competition between the teams became increasingly exciting. Every activity, every challenge, every victory, and every moment of teamwork contributed to the final result. And, in the end, there could only be one champion! A huge congratulations to The Hunters, who gave their best throughout the entire camp and brought incredible energy, enthusiasm, teamwork, and determination to every challenge. Their positive spirit truly captured what this camp was all about: giving your best, supporting your team, and enjoying the journey along the way.
Of course, the real success of the camp cannot be measured only by points or by the final winning team. Its greatest achievement was seeing students from different groups come together, strengthen friendships, make new connections, encourage one another, and create a stronger High School community. For teachers, it was also a wonderful opportunity to see our students outside the classroom and discover different sides of their personalities, talents, humour, leadership, and teamwork.
Three days passed far too quickly, but they left us with plenty of stories to tell, photographs to remember, new friendships to celebrate, and experiences that will stay with us for a long time. We would like to thank all the students for bringing such enthusiasm and positive energy to the camp, and all the teachers who helped make these three days such a memorable experience.
As we return to our classrooms, we take with us the laughter, the adventures, the breathtaking views, the friendly competitions, and, most importantly, the stronger sense of community we created together. Congratulations once again to The Hunters, and a huge thank you to everyone who made our High School Camp 2026 such a success. We had an amazing time together and, after such a fantastic few days, we are already looking forward to our next school adventure!
