Welcome to Middle School

Dear Middle School Parents,

Welcome to the 2026/2027 school year. I hope you and your families had a wonderful summer. It is a pleasure to welcome back our returning families and to welcome those joining the EISB Middle School community for the first time.

Our Middle School includes Years 7, 8 and 9 (MYP1–3), and our focus continues to be on supporting both the academic and social-emotional development/ skills of our students. These years are an important transition between Primary and High School, and our aim is to help students become increasingly independent, responsible and collaborative learners while still providing them with the guidance and skills-based education they need.

We have a busy start to the year ahead. Our Middle School Camp takes place from September 9–11 (Registration open on EduPage), followed by the EISB Charity Fun Run on September 12. In October, we will also introduce our first EISB Homecoming Week, a new tradition that our students will help us create. More information about Homecoming will be provided soon.

Throughout the year, EduPage will remain our main platform for communication, registrations, schedules and absence notes, while ManageBac can be used to follow students’ academic progress, including grades and teacher comments.

Most importantly, please feel comfortable reaching out. Our Class Teachers are there to support both students and families, and I am always available through EduPage or by email if there is anything I can help with.

I look forward to another exciting year and to seeing our Middle School students continue to grow, challenge themselves, and contribute positively to our school community.
