Little Learners, Big Discoveries at the Police Station ๐๐ฎโโ๏ธ๐ข
๐ฎโโ๏ธ Inside the Police Station: A Real-Life Learning Experience ๐จ
As part of our IB transdisciplinary theme โHow We Organise Ourselves,โ our Year 2 students visited the police station at Vietnamskรก 23, Trnรกvka, Bratislava to explore how communities work together to keep people safe and supported.
Students had an exciting hands-on learning experience where they explored police cars, police bikes, the jail area, handcuffs, police uniforms, protective glass shields, and bulletproof and fireproof equipment. They also learned about the important responsibilities of police officers and how they help protect the community every day.
A big thank you to Mr.Peter Sรกho for guiding our students through the police system and making the visit interactive, engaging, and memorable.
As part of the EISB community, our students expressed their gratitude by presenting handmade bouquets, cards, and small mementos to the police officers. In return, the officers warmly showered our students with kindness by offering drinks, chocolates, and special diploma certificates, making the experience even more memorable and meaningful for everyone. ๐
Special thanks to Mrs. Trajlinkova, one of our Year 2 parents, for arranging this wonderful and valuable learning experience. We are also deeply grateful to all the police officers of Bratislava for their dedication, courage, and commitment to keeping our community safe every day. ๐ฎโโ๏ธโจ
