ʸᵉᵃʳ ⁷ Financial Literacy Session with Special Guest 𝙈𝙧𝙨. 𝙎𝙡𝙖𝙫𝙠𝙖 𝙀𝙡𝙚𝙮

A heartfelt thank you to Mrs. Slavka Eley for generously taking the time to visit our school and share her valuable expertise on Financial Literacy with our students.

During her presentation, Mrs. Eley explained that money replaced bartering and now exists in physical and digital forms, used to buy goods and services. She also described how money is created through lending and business activities.

She highlighted the role of banks in keeping money safe, transferring it between people, paying interest, giving loans, and issuing financial products like bonds and shares.

Mrs. Eley emphasized that trust is essential in banking. She explained that regulatory authorities oversee banks to ensure they follow rules, and step in when banks face serious problems.

The students showed excellent behavior throughout the presentation, listening attentively and engaging actively with thoughtful questions and comments. Their participation made the session even more valuable and enjoyable for everyone involved.
