The MYP1 Individuals and Societies class welcomed, Ms Marta Donovalova, our new counselor, she held a session with Year 7 students focused on creating a welcoming and inclusive classroom environment. During the session, students discussed the importance of building positive relationships, getting to know their classmates, and making everyone feel welcome and included.

The session also encouraged students to step outside their usual friendship groups, interact with different classmates, and develop new social skills. As a follow-up, students will have more opportunities to work with different peers during group activities, projects, games, and other classroom tasks.

By encouraging students to mix with different classmates, we aim to strengthen our class community, promote collaboration, and create an environment where everyone feels comfortable, respected, and included.
