Day of Europe 2026
On Thursday, 7th May, our Year 10 and Year 11 students attended the Day of Europe event at Stará tržnica in the city center. The event, organised by the Representation of the European Commission and the European Parliament, gave students the chance to learn more about the European Union in a fun and interactive way.
They visited different stands, discovered interesting facts about European countries, and took part in quizzes and activities prepared by representations from various EU (and even non-EU!) countries. Students enjoyed learning about languages, cultures, travel opportunities, and the work of European institutions. Many of them collected small souvenirs and enjoyed speaking with people from different countries and organisations.
The trip was not only educational, but also a great opportunity for students to spend time together outside the classroom and experience an important international event firsthand.
