Apple Season Treats in Our Environmental Club
This week, our Environmental Club enjoyed the high apple season in the sweetest way — by cooking apple balls together!
We started with fresh apples. The children first shredded and grated them to make soft apple purée. Then they crumbled crackers or puffed rice and mixed everything into a dough. The fun part came when they shaped the mixture into small balls with their hands. Each ball was rolled in coconut, cocoa powder, or even both.
The children loved the activity! Some even tasted all the ingredients along the way and ended up with happy, chocolatey smiles. The room was filled with laughter and the smell of apples.
At the end, every child took home a little box of their yummy apple balls to share with their families. It was a healthy, tasty, and joyful way to celebrate the season. Yum! 🍎✨
