September Staff Fun

Creating a sense of community is an important part of our mission here at EISB. One way that we do this is by enjoying monthly staff events where our teachers, administrators and support staff can get together and have some fun engaging in various activities from scavenger hunts to bowling.

For our September staff event this year, we took the train afterschool one Friday to the Pezinok Burciak Festival to enjoy an evening of great food and festivities. Upon our arrival at the train station, we made our way downtown and picked up some delicious local foods including zemiakove placky, lokse and ciganska pecienka before strolling through the streets around town to check out all of the local arts and crafts available in the different stalls.

At the end of the evening, some of the more adventurous members of our group took a turn on a few of the carnival rides such as the bumper cars and wave swinger before picking up a trdelnik for the road and heading back to the train station for the short ride back to Bratislava.
