DESCRIPTION:Fašiangy is the Slovak term for the carnival season that ta
 kes place between Three Kings' Day (January 6) and Ash Wednesday. It is a
  festive period filled with music\, dancing\, feasting\, and masquerade c
 elebrations\, similar to Mardi Gras or Carnival in other cultures. \n
 \nTraditionally\, Fašiangy marks the time before Lent\, a period of fast
 ing and reflection in Christian tradition. It is often celebrated with pa
 rades\, costume parties\, folk traditions\, and rich foods like fried doug
